Scifi tech: the IDF uses mini drones in Gaza
Engaging in close-quarters combat, the soldiers successfully neutralized terrorist using miniaturized drones.
Under the guidance of IDF intelligence and the ISA, the Commando Brigade conducted targeted raids on approximately 100 structures within the Hamad area of Khan Yunis. These operations led to the discovery of several weapons caches and the elimination of numerous terrorists.
Throughout the mission, soldiers encountered armed militants who had barricaded themselves across various floors of the buildings. Engaging in close-quarters combat, the soldiers successfully neutralized these threats. Notably, one terrorist was identified and eliminated with the assistance of a miniature IDF drone. From the footage is clear that the drone is so small that the terrorist struggles to understand what is going on.
Additionally, dozens of terrorists surrendered to the soldiers during the operation and were subsequently detained for further interrogation.
The success of the operation was bolstered by close collaboration with the Israeli Air Force, which conducted strikes on terror targets ahead of the ground maneuver to support the efforts of the ground forces.
