IDF finds significant terrorist arsenal in the Maternity Ward of Shifa Hospital
As part of an operation led by the IDF and ISA under the 162nd Division at Shifa Hospital, soldiers from the Nahal Reconnaissance Unit conducted operations in multiple buildings, neutralizing terrorists and uncovering a cache of weapons hidden within the hospital.
The IDF conducted operations in Gaza over the past day, eliminating terrorists who were barricaded in the area through close-quarters combat. Additionally, weapons were found in the vicinity of the hospital.
In the northern Gaza Strip's Rimal area, IDF activity targeted compounds used for launching anti-tank missiles and sniper operations. Strikes by IAF aircraft resulted in the elimination of a terrorist responsible for attacks on troops.
Operations in the central Gaza Strip led to the elimination of over 15 terrorists. Notably, a terrorist cell approaching a military compound was targeted by an IDF fighter jet after being identified exiting a tunnel shaft. Another cell was eliminated by precise sniper fire.
The IAF targeted approximately 80 terror sites across Gaza, including military compounds and locations housing Hamas terrorists. Ground troops and IAF forces also eliminated terrorists in southern Gaza, dismantling infrastructure used for attacks on IDF troops.
Moreover, approximately 15 terrorists were eliminated through sniper fire and mortar shell launches. Weapons, including grenades and military equipment, were discovered during these operations.

Within the maternity ward, soldiers found a significant quantity of weapons concealed in various locations, including pillows, hospital beds, ceilings, and walls. The cache included dozens of mortar shells, explosive devices, sniper rifles, Kalashnikov rifles, pistols, magazines, mortars, and additional ammunition.
During a sweep of the compound, the soldiers encountered armed terrorists and senior members of the Hamas terrorist organization in a stairwell. An ensuing pursuit and exchange of gunfire resulted in the elimination of the senior terrorists.
