IDF Strikes Terrorist Targets: Operations in Gaza and Southern Lebanon
During the night, IDF fighter jets conducted airstrikes on a military compound situated in the vicinity of al-Habbariyeh in Southern Lebanon eliminating a notable terrorist operative affiliated with the 'al-Jama'a al-Islamiyya'.
The IDF and ISA are actively engaged in precise operational maneuvers around the Shifa Hospital area, ensuring the safety of civilians, medical personnel, and equipment. Their efforts have led to the apprehension of numerous terrorists and the neutralization of dozens more in the vicinity of the hospital.
IDF Spokesperson, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said:
"Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists operate from within the departments of the hospital and thus are just destroying it. Hamas is destroying the Shifa Hospital. Hamas uses civilians as human shields and puts them in danger. Moreover, Hamas spreads lies on social media and the Al Jazeera network about harm to civilians in the hospital. Not a single civilian, patient, doctor, or medical staff member was harmed in this operation – only terrorists."
Under the command of the 98th Division, the IDF and ISA persist in their precise operations to root out terrorists and confiscate weaponry in Al Amal and Al Qarara.
In Al Amal, IDF forces, in collaboration with the IAF, eliminated several terrorists while conducting a targeted raid on terror infrastructure. This operation resulted in the discovery and seizure of various weapons, including launchers, AK-47 rifles, and grenades.
In the Gaza Strip, IAF aircraft have conducted strikes on numerous terror targets, such as tunnels, military compounds, armed militants, and other infrastructure, to support ground operations by IDF troops.
IDF forces have successfully eliminated a number of terrorists. Notably, during one operation, an aircraft targeted and neutralized a terrorist who was in close proximity to IDF troops, ensuring their safety.
